Exceptionally priced, vintage-dated Burgundian bubbly. There’s a maturity to this sparkling wine, giving off warm aromas of toasted bread and nuts that echo on the palate as well as some tangy citrus and a hint of tea. Well-balanced, refreshing and crisp. A simple, toasty bubbly with toasty aromas. Good budget sparkler for parties.

Crémant De Bourgogne food pairings: fried calamari, penne carbonara.

Reviews and Ratings

Cave de Lugny is a co-operative comprised of over 250 estates. This exceptionally priced, vintage-dated Burgundian sparkler offers a nice maturity. A wonderful bubbly with warm suggestions of toasted bread and nuts on both the nose and palate, with tangy citrus and a hint of tea adding to the fun. Well-balanced, crisp and refreshing, this is a complex crémant. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
