Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted the 2014 vintage after 3h decant in Sept 2017. Blackberry, bacon, hint of raspberry, spiced slow cooked brisket. Long finish. Well balanced, medium acidity, medium tannins. Pair with a thin crust pepperoni pizza or smoked meat sandwich. Good value. 90 pts. BespokeTastings
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

There’s nothing wrong with this wine, there’s just nothing outstanding. The fruit is not well integrated with the oak, and I question the phenolic ripeness of the fruit. Pizza wine at best. Red and black fruit, cola, vanilla. 86 Points.
This is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Agrelo, Uco Valley in Mendoza. This 2014 is great value, and was made from vines planted in 1973; cropped at one cluster per shoot giving everything to that cluster of fruit. - Community Wine Reviews
