Broad strokes of black cherry flavour here in this big Californian Cabernet. Full-bodied and loaded with fleshy black fruit aromas plus some herbal notes. Finishes pleasantly with mocha and oak spice. Good tannin structure and balance. Needs a juicy steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese, pepper steaks, smoky ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

This robust Californian cabernet would be perfect with strong farmhouse cheeses. Cannonball represents freedom: the child with legs tucked up underneath him as he dives into the water. Lots of mocha, cocoa, cola, and smoke from generous oak aging. - Community Wine Reviews
