A supple, smooth, seductive red wine made from estate grown BC Syrah grapes. Syrah really shines in the Okanagan Valley and here's a great example of it. Pair with pork tenderloin.

Syrah food pairings: lamb tangine, roast rack of lamb, beef long ribs on the barbie.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark ripe and stewed fruit, with baking spice, pepper, vanilla bean, and a touch of leather on the nose. Full bodied, silky smooth, this deeply concentrated Okanagan Syrah shows exactly why this varietal is excelling in this region and becoming known around the world for their beautiful style of Syrah. Burrowing Owl's 2012 Syrah won a Gold Medal at the 2015 Syrah du Monde in France, being the sole Canadian wine to win a medal at this competition. Enjoy with fine cuts of grilled beef, lamb, or hearty stews. Tasted April 2016. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
