Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Pinot Grigio offers more - of everything!
With rich ripe flavours of citrus, apple, pear, and stone fruit complemented with a medium plus body this refreshing white gives more than your average Pinot Grigio (think Pinot Gris).
Pair with seafood linguine or sip on its own.
Drink now, or keep through 2015.
Date tasted: January 2015.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pinot Grigio with taste! A white wine made with copper coloured grapes, medium+ acidity and medium+ body. One might not believe I'm talking about Pinot Grigio given it's characteristics. Intense aromas of apple, over-ripe pear, honeydew melon, citrus, hints of floral, and some minerallity. Easy drinking and meant to be consumed now through 2016.
Enjoy with shellfish, grilled tuna steak, salads or on it's own. Good value.
Tasted: January 2015
Borgo Magredo is the largest winery in Friuli, located on soils that are largely stones and pebbles, which assist with drainage for the vines and retain heat at night. "Mosaic" refers to a sixth century mosaic that was designed and created using those stones and now housed in the Santa Eufemia Cathedral. - Community Wine Reviews
