The 2007 vintage is surprisingly vibrant, at peak, and ready to drink now. Smoky with dusty, earthy notes and chary black fruit. Racy acidity is balanced with the heft of the wine for rare and grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Spain's Navarra region a blend of Tempranillo, Merlot & Cab Sauv with a dark garnet inviting ripe cherry and vanilla nose. A yummy palate, too with ripe cherries, dark berry fruit, herbal touches and mint. Very well-balanced, dry mouthfeel with a long minty cherry finish. Delicious!
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Full bodied, full flavoured, a lovely robust wine that is not showing any signs of aging. Highly recommended. Tasted June 2015. 89+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely Spanish blend of Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in French and American oak. This red wine blend is earthy, grainy and robust with a backbone of juicy red and black fruit. A long warm tannic finish and still time left in the bottle. At $25 this would be a very nice gift. Suggest decanting 2 hours prior to enjoyment.
Tasted: June 2015
This single vineyard Spanish red wine is a blend of 55% Tempranillo with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The vines are planted in clay and limestone soils at Olite and Traibuenas. The wine is aged for more than a year in 225 lire American and French oak barrels. It is not filtered. - Community Wine Reviews
