Elegant, smooth and full-bodied with fleshy black plum aromas and flavours. Generous and mouth-filling. Great price for this quality from Eduardo Chadwick, well respected within the Chilean wine community and beyond. Long, satisfying finish. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Carmenere food pairings: grilled lamb, beef braised in a mole sauce, hearty stews.

Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Creamy-smooth mothfeel with plenty of plush blackberry and gently spun oak in the mix. A fine Chilean Carmenere to enjoy with comforting beef stews or lamb tagine.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This very smooth wine boasts black cherry, blackberry, plum, tobacco, baking spice, black pepper, smoke and vegetal components on the palate. With high acidity and smoothly integrated tannins, it is a very versatile wine that could pair with a host of different dishes, from vegetarian foods to steak!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of plum, pepper, and warm spices. Medium bodied, nice acidity, and ripe fruit on the palate with some soft tannin. Spicy and smoky notes come through on the finish. Try with any pork dish.
Arboleda is a boutique winery nestled in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley that handcrafts six exclusive single vineyard wines, each from a unique terroir, according to the back label. The wine's name, Arboleda, is a tribute to the 1,450 hectares of native forest that surround the winery's sustainably farmed vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
