Juicy, mouthwatering acidity for a variety of dishes. Smooth and medium-bodied. Aromas of fleshy cherry and spice. Very sexy stuff. Some dried herbs on the finish. Highly recommended.

Pinot Noir food pairings: planked salmon, roast turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This delicate pinot noir is a nicely balanced example of fine wine from the cold climate in Oregon. It has aromas of ripe cherries, tobacco and spice with a velvety mouthfeel and a good dose of acidity. Delicious! Would be perfect with a cedar planked salmon or for sipping all by itself.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale garnet in colour with flavours of raspberry, red cherry, dark chocolate, beet root, vanilla, tomato, and earthy minerality. With low tannins, and refreshing acidity, the flavours linger on the warming, elegant finish.
Drink now, or keep until 2015.
Pair with gourmet burgers, or savour on its own.
Date tasted: April 2014.
A great pinot noir from Oregon to try and compare with others from the state. Source: Wine Reviews
