Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This non-vintage “pretty in pink” sparkler is vinified with a blend of 46% Pinot Noir, 44% Chardonnay and 10% Gamay in a traditional method. Bursting with aromas and flavours of ripe raspberries and peaches with a touch of minerality. Bone-dry with crisp acidity and persistent, smooth mousse. Closes in a clean, polished, lingering finish. Fantastic aperitif. For a perfect food pairing serve it with grilled octopus. Tasted March 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A house favourite, excellent primary red fruit flavours, with crisp acids and a clean finish. Keep a bottle in the fridge at all times. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

13th Street Winery Cuvée Rosé is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, with a hint of Gamay Noir, and although it's a non vintage product, 85% is from the 2011 vintage. Produced in the same labour intensive manner as Champagne, this traditional method sparkling wine offers incredible value for such a lovely wine at such a low price.

This is a wine I’m really excited about. It's dry with lively acidity and a fine palate cleansing mousse, it has lovely field berries, cran-apple, and mineral notes. Perfect as an aperitif, or on it's own, and made even better with smoked salmon, charcuterie plates, or fresh garden salads with strawberries. Such a versatile wine and terrific value for a traditional method sparkling wine. Enjoy now or cellar for a few extra years.
Tasted March 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Big, loud cranberry up front with raspberry, cherry, and strawberry in support, and a whiff of grapefruit pith before a touch of toasty and yeasty delight. Super crisp and dry, pleasant autolysis, and quite flavourful. Plenty of grapefruit and mineral through the finish. Stellar pink bubbly that will suit a wide array of foods, especially cured meats, cranberry biscotti, or salty cheeses.
