I thoroughly enjoyed this 2010 Chateau de Sancerre, with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this is another great wine for summer salads. On the nose I could smell the flint, and then I discovered the soil is 75% limestone and 25% flint soil You can really detect it on the nose, along with citrus notes. I found it fresh and crisp on the palate, and made by the same people who make Grand Marnier liquor.
