Tommasi Il Sestante Ripasso Valpolicella 2009, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Drinking beautifully right now. Features aromas of plum, raspberry, hickory smoke, spice box and mocha. Dry, fruity, round and ripe. Fairly flavourful with a nice spiced fruit note and rush of acidity on the end to freshen it all up. My note: Savoury, dark and juicy with wild black cherries and cedar notes. Full-bodied and smooth. Great value. Drink: 2011-2015.  181719  13%  D  750 mL  $18.95  Score: 89/100.
