Chateau De L'ille Cuvée Angélique Corbières 2008, A.C., Midi, France: This wine won the Gold Medal winner at the 2010 Concours Général Agricole in Paris and is a blend of 60% syrah and 40% grenache grapes. There’s big juicy cruisin-for-a-bruisin blackberries and blackcurrant. Terrific concentration and balance for the price point: it’s a steal.
