Domaine Des Fines Caillottes Jean Pabiot & Fils Pouilly-Fumé 2009, A.C., Loire, France: Vintages Wine Panel: A terrific Sauvignon Blanc with classic Pouilly-Fumé aromas of straw, grapefruit and mineral. Dry and zesty with good aroma replays all around it. This is a refreshing, medium-bodied wine. My note: Savoury and mouth-watering, and quite unlike New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. More dried herbs and lemon-smoke than cut grass. I love this style as it’s less in-your-face, more subtle. Drink: 2011-2014. 695908 13% XD 750 mL $22.95 Score: 90/100. August 20, 2011 Full Review
