Tawse Quarry Road Gewurztraminer 2010, V.Q.A., Vinemount Ridge, Niagara Peninsula, Canada: The ethereal essence of gewurztraminer with exotic aromas of violets and rose petals and ripe Asian pear and lychee fruit. Rich, luscious texture that's perfectly balanced. Great mouth-watering juiciness for a variety of dishes. The vines for this wine were grown in limstone soil, then the grapes were hand-harvested. It's also both organic and biodynamically farmed. The effort and care shows in the superb craftsmanship. Drink: 2010-2017. 243717 13.50% XD 750 mL $28.95 Score: 93/100. January 3, 2012 Full Review
