Natalie's Review

Chilensis Reserva Carmenère 2010, Maule Valley, Central Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: What a fantastically well-priced Carmenère! Medium ruby-purple in colour, it sports spicy cherry, boysenberry, blueberry, hickory smoke and black plum. Dry, medium bodied, with ripe fruit and supportive tannins, all culminating in a lingering medium-long finish. A tasty take on Chile’s signature red varietal. My note: Smoky black fruit mocha at a staggeringly great price. Full-bodied and lip-smacking delicious. Drink: 2011-2014. 657981 14% XD 750 mL  $12.95 Score: 87/100.
