Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 89/100
with the following review:
Red currant, cherry, hint of black berry fruit. Tobacco is present with a touch of smoke and green coffee bean. White pepper, earth, flowers, all wrapped up with taut, fresh tannin and acidity. Minimal wood present, but it doesn’t need any augmentation, a truly fantastic expression of what Barossa can do with cuvees such as this. Great precision and focus, restraint of fruit character and incredible balance. Only thing separating this from a classic quality wine is a slightly shortened mid-palate. 89 Points.
