Soljans Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: Soljans has been producing quality wines in New Zealand for three generations. Their 2009 Sauvignon Blanc offers lovely floral and herbaceous notes along with rich and ripe tropical-fruit aromas and flavours. Dry, fresh, medium bodied and easy-drinking, it will make an ideal addition as a sipper at any barbecue. My note: Classic NZ SB, but not too herbal with lemongrass and chives. Terrific for such a wide range of dishes from salads to seafood. Drink: 2011-2015. 91223 12% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 89/100. July 23, 2011 Full Review
