Josef Chromy Chardonnay 2009, Tasmania, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: Classic example of New World cool-climate Chardonnay. Aromas of apricot, coconut, pear, biscuits and cream corn really come to the fore. Dry, very rich and flavourful with plentiful oak and a seam of acidity that brings the whole package into near-perfect alignment. Full bodied with a long and stylish finish. Cellar it 2-3 years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: Marvelous and dazzling array of sun-dappled fruit and goodness. Full-bodied with vibrant notes of green apple and toasted almond. Bring it on! Drink: 2011-2016. 162982 14% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 92/100. July 23, 2011 Full Review
