Domaine Boudau Le Clos Véronique Et Pierre Boudau, Vign.-Récolt. 2009, A.C., Côtes Du Roussillon, Midi, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Youthful medium ruby/purple colour with aromas of warmed blueberry pie, currants, mocha and a hint of balsamic. Dry, fruit-forward, ripe and round. This is a soft, crowd-pleasing wine with just enough tannins to give it a good structure. Enjoy it tonight. My note: A tasty, rustic, full-bodied red with aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant and cedar. Smooth, yet it has a pleasing grip. Perfect for barbecues.
