Louis Bernard Gigondas 2008, A.C., Rhône, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Medium ruby in colour with aromas of red plum, blackberry, peppercorn and lavender. Dry and fruity with impressive structure supplied by acids and tannins. Medium bodied with a nice long finish. Cellar it 2-4 years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: Terrific savoury, juicy element to this full-bodied red. Dark fleshy cherries, spices and smoke. You come up from the glass wanting … needing more. Top me up! Drink: 2011-2016. 222596 13.50% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100. June 25, 2011 Luscious Lamb Wine Full Review
