Grgich Hills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Napa Valley, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: This blockbuster of a wine is certified biodynamically grown. Opaque ruby with a hint of garnet. Cassis, mocha, mineral/graphite, black licorice and woodsmoke. Dry, fruit driven, but with good structure from velvety tannins. Big, lushly textured wine that may be cellared 2+ years. My note: Classic and enduring, this staple Cabernet in the heart of Napa Valley is made from biodynamically grown grapes. Black fruit and anise abound wrapped in woodsmoke. Perfect wedding gift. Drink: 2012-2020. 71407 14.80% XD 750 mL $69.95 Score: 93/100. June 25, 2011 Full Review
