Altocedro Año Cero Tempranillo 2009, La Consulta, Mendoza, Año Cero, Argentina: Vintages Wine Panel: Argentina has a strong Spanish culture, so it’s not that surprising that Tempranillo has been grown here for decades. For example, the vines used to make this wine are 47 years old. My note: Want big oak? Here you go. Plus there’s big, black fruit and a smooth texture. Drink: 2011-2014. 232678 14% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 88/100. June 25, 2011  Full Review
