Natalie's Review

Zeni Marogne Superiore Valpolicella Ripasso 2008, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Enticing aromas of smoked meat, raspberry, cherry, dried herbs and woodsmoke. Dry, medium-full bodied, with pure fruit jazzed up by savoury herbal and smoky notes. Good length. My note: An elegant and balanced red, with full-bodied generosity yet not heavy. Aromas of dark fruit and mouth-watering juices. Forget chianti, go with this red for your Italian feast. Drink: 2009-2015. 220830 14% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100.
