Tasted at the Kia Ora Dinner, hosted by Benson Marketing and Classic Wines of New Zealand at La Mar Cebicheria in San Francisco on 10/01/10.
Color: Medium canary clear edges
Nose: Distinct tomato vine here, Great juicy grapefruit as well and clean minerality.
Palate: More complex structure here, with a fuller mouthfeel and better balance with the crisp and clean citrus and that tomato vine finish. Very good: NewWorldWK.
Nobilo Icon Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Mild grass and chive aromas with a zippy refreshment. Lemon and lime on the finish. Terrific craftsmanship and very versatile with many dishes. Drink: 2010-2014. 912337 14% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 90/100. May 28, 2011 Full Review
