Featherstone Winery & Vineyard Rosé 2010, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: This rose-petal pink rosé has a fresh and inviting nose with wonderfully complex aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, roses and mineral. Dry, medium-bodied, and acutely elegant, this is quite juicy and flavourful with a zippy acidity and a mouth-watering finish. Great as a sipper for backyard barbecues. My note: Strawberry fields forever! A lovely, summer’s day wine with ripe field berries and a gentle acidity. Works as both a refreshing aperitif and a companion to seafood and salads. Drink: 2010-2012. 117861 13% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 87/100. May 28, 2011 Best Value Rose. Full Review
