Helfrich Pinot Gris 2008, A.C., Alsace, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Pinot Gris is a very versatile, characterful partner for a variety of foods. My note: This wine makes my mouth water just smelling it! Aromas of ultra-ripe peaches and pears, with a little apricot and orange zest in the background play with your senses. Then in your mouth, this wine does more of that wonderful mouth-watering action to whet you appetite. It finishes dry and refreshing. Terrific! 141788 12.60% D 750 mL $13.95 Score: 90/100.
