Flat Rock Cellars Nadja's Vineyard Riesling 2008, VQA Twenty Mile Bench, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: This Riesling, from Flat Rock’s fine Nadja’s Vineyard (named for President Ed Madronach’s mother), shines like a beacon for quality dry Riesling in Ontario, and the 2008 vintage is no exception. Filled with lime, pear, green apple and mineral aromas, this deeply delicious wine has excellent cellaring potential (4-6+ years), but may also be enjoyed tonight. My note: terrific vibrant wine! Lovely apricot and dry peach notes with a lime zestiness that carries on and on in the finish. Drink: 2009-2014. 578625 10.50% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 89/100. December 5, 2009 Full Review
