Natalie's Review

Stratus 2006, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: This ultra-chic winery is devoted to the art of the blend. Master winemaker J.L. Groux uses seven grape varieties to assemble this flagship red and to capture the very best each vintage has to offer. My note: A consistently great producer in Niagara, Stratus has created a lovely red blend for this vintage: bursting with tart cranberry, beetroot and redcurrant notes. Mouth-watering acidity and a supple texture with accented oak notes. 131037 12.50% XD 750 mL  $44.20 Score: 88/100. November 21, 2009  Full Review
