Tenuta Sant'antonio Monti Garbi Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2007, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Another fine wine made using the Ripasso method. Plum, fig, raisin and dark chocolate aromas dominate this well-made wine. There’s even a touch of smoked meat too. Dry, flavourful and with good balance. Full bodied with a lingering fruity, smoky finish. Try it with a rich meat-based pasta dish. My note: extremely tasting and mouth-awakening with vibrant flavours of cherry and mocha. Full-bodied and lip-smacking delicious. 29850 14% D 750 mL $18.95 Score: 89/100. November 21, 2009 Full Review
