Artazuri Bodegas Y Viñedos Artazu Garnacha 2009, D.O., Navarra, Spain: Vintages Wine Panel: Made by Artazu’s brilliant winemaker, Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle, this 100% old vine Garnacha (Grenache) is a perennial favourite of Parker’s Wine Advocate. The 2009 vintage has yet to be reviewed. Look for an elegant wine featuring raspberry, cherry and plum aromas and flavours, beautiful texture and a long finish. Age it 1-2 years or enjoy it tonight. My note: Savory, dark, full-bodied and mouth-watering. Loaded with black fruit and a wisp of toasty oak weaves its way through the fabric of this wine. I can smell hamburgers sizzling on the grill when I taste this wine. Hungry now! Drink: 2011-2015. 80812 14% XD 750 mL $12.95 Score: 89/100. April 30, 2011 Full Review
