Gabriel D'ardhuy Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2009, A.C., Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Cherry, vanilla and hazelnut on the nose with a palate that is remarkably well structured for this price; perfectly harmonized tannins and acidity working beautifully with the fruit from first taste right through to the fruity and quite lengthy finish. Delicious. A superb food wine. Give a friend a treat and open this tonight. My note: Bright, tart cherries with some field strawberries. Leans almost toward a Beaujolais style. Expressive and medium-bodied. Delightful for roast chicken. Drink: 2011-2014. 208066 13% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 88/100. April 30, 2011 Full Review
