I'm loving Rhone varietals grown in Victoria these days. Candied lemon, sweet stone fruit, and a hint of bosc pear. I've thrown a bottle in my cellar to see if it shuts down and emerges as something else. If you don't know what I'm talking about, try it with a white Rhone. I'm 88 on this. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Tahbilk Marsanne 2009, Nagambie Lakes, Central Victoria, Australia: Lemon-yellow essence with some dry honey and white peach. Wonderful white that will get you out of that chardonnay rut you’ve been in. Drink: 2011-2016. 117945 13.50% XD 750 mL $16.95 Score: 90/100. April 30, 2011 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
