reviewed this wine as follows:
A powerful red wine with notes of red cherries, eucalyptus and black olives on the palate. There is a subtly beautiful hint of oak that doesn't overpower the flavour profile. The tannins are supple but strong, and this wine could still benefit from a few more years in the cellar although it is drinking well now. Decant for 1-2 hours before drinking. Tasted June 2013.
Laughing Stock Vineyards Portfolio Cabernet Blend 2006, Okanagan Valley, B.C., Vqa, Canada: Chewy dark cherries and berries with a lovely smoky weave throughout. A stunning, spectacular wine of incredible depth and length. The 2006 vintage is a blend of 61% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. This gorgeous red combines Old World structure and New World power. 71464 14% D 750 mL $49.75 Score: 91/100. April 22, 2011 Full Review
