The Grey Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 from Langhorne Creek was much more pleasant in comparison to the Cab from Coonawarra region. The wine was medium to full bodied with nicely fragrant, fruity to integrated aromas of violets, cedar, chocolate and black berry. The tannins were refined and dusty (decant for 30 to 60 min) and the finish was medium to long. It should evolve nicely for more than 5 years, but is definitely ready to drink now. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts. Tasted June23/10
Wolf Blass Grey Label Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2007, Langhorne Creek, Australia: Deserves every penny of this not so inexpensive price point. Common splurge and enjoy yourself: aren't you worth it? Deep, brooding aromas of black fruit, smoke and fleshy plums. Bring it on! 470120 14% D 750 mL $35.00 Score: 90/100. March 28, 2011 Full Review
