Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Sonoma, Napa, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: A perennial favourite with Vintages customers, K-J’s Vintner’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon seems to get better with every vintage, and the 2008 has no intention of letting the side down. Elegant with cherry, cassis, cedar and cocoa aromas, it’s dry and medium bodied on the palate, with fresh fruit flavours and ripe tannins. Delicious. This will also reward 2-3 years in the cellar. My note: A consistently good producer with nice balance and flavour of dark berries and other fruit. Judicious use of oak. Drink: 2011-2015.  331603  13.50%  XD  750 mL  $21.95  Score: 88/100.
