Natalie's Review

San Cassiano Amarone Della Valpolicella 2006, D.O.C., Veneto, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: This is a delicious, super-concentrated Amarone with layered notes of black cherry, chocolate and spice on the nose. The palate reinforces the promise of the nose, with echoes of ripe dark fruit, chocolate and spice coming to the fore of this delectably textured and round wine. My note: Purple plum liqueur with spice and cedar notes. Incredible concentration and full-bodied weight. Drink: 2011-2016. 210799 16% XD 750 mL  $38.95 Score: 90/100. April 2, 2011  Full Review
