Château Au Pont De Guitres Rémy Rousselot, Vitic. Merlot Cab Franc 2008, A.C., Lalande-De-Pomerol, Bordeaux, France: Vintages Wine Panel: A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cab Franc, this wine opens with wild raspberry, cocoa, tobacco, and black cherry on the nose. The palate is plush and fruity, dry, and medium bodied, with ripe fruit and substantial tannins. Hold this for 2-4 years or enjoy it tonight. My note : A pleasant, well-structured Bordeaux for short-term drinking. Black fruit and smoke with some mocha-espresso notes. Full-bodied. Decant for 1-2 hours first for maximum pleasure.
