Fog Head Highlands Series Reserve Pinot Noir 2008, Monterey, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: This exceptionally well-made Pinot delivers far above its price point. Engaging notes of cherry, rhubarb, spice and oak on the nose. The palate is equally charming, with quite elegant offerings of tangy raspberry and dark cherry alongside well- balanced oak and acidity. My note: A pleasant fleshy ripe cherry wine with some nice tartness. Silky-smooth and medium-bodied. Drink: 2011-2016. 212944 13.50% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100. April 2, 2011 Full Review
