Salomon-Undhof Salomon Groovey Trocken Grüner Veltliner 2010, Austria: Vintages Wine Panel: Pronounced GROO-ner VELT-lee-ner, and called GrüVe by the in-crowd, Grüner Veltliner is not only a great name for villain in a Hollywood blockbuster, but is one of the hippest and hottest wines on the market. Typically dry and flavourful with a peppery or spicy overtone. My note: Ultra-mouth-watering acidity and fresh green, lime and white grapefruit notes. Perfect for shellfish. Drink: 2011-2014. 669606 12% XD 750 mL $12.95 Score: 87/100. April 2, 2011 Full Review
