The Paring Pinot Noir 2008, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: Fine example of quintessential Cali Pinot Noir, with aromas of raspberry, vanilla and cherry, plus hints of underbrush and dark chocolate. Dry, fruity, ripe and round, with gentle tannins and acidity for structure. Medium-full bodied with a fairly long finish. It will also last 3-4+ years in a cellar. My note: Big fleshy ripe raspberries and cherries with a zingy acidity. Full-bodied and rich, especially for a pinot. Extremely tasty. I’d love to have this wine with turkey dinner. Drink: 2011-2015. 218958 14.10% XD 750 mL $32.95 Score: 90/100. March 19, 2011 Full Review
