A steal for the price. The Calamus Reserve Red has a bit of a bite to it with a peppery feel on the tongue, that being said very nice plum and currant as well.

Calamus Estate Winery Reserve Red Cabernet Franc Merlot 2007, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: A smooth, juicy red with fleshy dark berries and mocha. A lovely wine with great drinking pleasure. Almost merlot-like but with more richness. This wine is a blend of 53% cabernet franc, 30% merlot, 14% cabernet sauvignon and 3% syrah. Nicely done!
