Clos Du Bois Chardonnay 2009, North Coast, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: A well structured and very approachable Chardonnay, this offers notes of peach, apple and pear with hints of toasty oak and caramel. Dry, medium bodied with a crisp finish. This is an all-purpose kind of Chard and really over-delivers at this price point. My note: Isn’t this nice? Lovely balance between the apple/peach notes and the smoky/buttery oak. Full-bodied but not over-the-top. I like it! Drink: 2011-2015. 124867 13.50% XD 750 mL $18.95 Score: 89/100.
