Domaine Roger Luquet Crémant De Bourgogne Blanc De Blancs, A.C., Burgundy, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Although Crémant de Bourgogne can use all allowable white varieties of Burgundy (such as Aligote and Gamay), Roger Luquet’s non-vintage Blanc de Blancs is produced from solely Chardonnay grown in the St. Véran appellation. This is a wonderfully complex offering featuring aromas of bread dough, citrus, apple, and ripe pear. Dry, with a lively fizz and pretty aroma replays. An ideal choice for those looking for a crémant made from very good grapes. My note: Supremely toasty with lovely notes of green apple.
