Château St. Didier Parnac Malbec Merlot 2006, A.C., Cahors, Southwest, France: Vintages Wine Panel: This Gold Medal-winning Malbec blend is drinking really well now. A complex and delightful wine, it is loaded with red plum, pencil lead, cedar, white pepper, sour berry fruit and smoke. Medium bodied, dry and soft, with a long, tangy finish. My note: Big black plums roll down your mouth with savoury notes. Surprising acidity here makes this a good food wine. Full-bodied, rich and dark. Rustic and tasty. Drink: 2011-2014. 194977 13% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 87/100. March 5, 2011 Full Review
