Cave Spring Estate Bottled Gewürztraminer 2009, V.Q.A., Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Cave Spring has landed another winner with this 2009 Gewürztraminer. Candied citrus, white flower, peach, apricot, and spice. Medium bodied, off-dry, with a tangy citrus note on the palate. Balanced and very well made, this is an appealing Ontario Gewürz with great character. My note: restrained in a lovely way: intriguing gewurz aromas but not overdone. Floral and lychee aromas. Perfect for curries and spices. Drink: 2011-2015. 302059 13% MD 750 mL $16.95 Score: 89/100. March 5, 2011 Full Review
