Twenty Twenty-Seven Cellars Featherstone Vineyard Riesling 2009, V.Q.A., Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Pale platinum in the glass. Lively and complex notes of mineral, lime, apple, pear, and orchard blossoms. Dry, medium bodied, juicy and mouth-watering, with some residual sugar balanced by waves of brilliantly vibrant acidity. Nice, fresh finish. This is an exceptional food wine, and a great expression of Niagara terroir. Expect this to evolve nicely over the next 5+ years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: A mouth-watering, juicy wine with white peach and white apricot. A touch of sweetness makes it absolutely lovely and very versatile with food.
