Natalie's Review

Terredora Aglianico 2007, I.G.T., Campania, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Aglianico is poised to be the new “it grape” of southern Italy. This version is deep ruby in color with forward aromas of cedar, smoke, plum, cherry and leather. It’s dry, rich and plump with dark fruit, espresso and dark chocolate flavors supported by medium, powdery tannins. Well-structured with a very long finish, it should be enjoyed over the next three years. My note: Mocha-infused nose opens up to blackberries and black raspberries. Lovely smoky, spicy mid-palate followed by a long, satisfying finish. Full-bodied and delicious. 602284 13% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 90/100. September 26, 2009  Full Review
