this was a nice wine to drink, we had it with a wine & herb salmon, sliced potatoes done on the bbq, this wine was lighter in flavour and aroma than I normally prefer but it went well with the salmon, lots of fruit aromas and fruit forward on the palate. Light to moderate color with notes of moss, oak, cedar and earthy tones. We tasted some blueberry fruit, overall a nice easy to drink pinot noir
Quails' Gate Estate Winery Pinot Noir 2006, V.Q.A., Okanagan Valley, Canada: Gorgeously ripe with tart cherries playing in the background to create a mouth-watering sensation. Silky layers of polished tannins in this medium-bodied red. Not oaky or smoky, just pure berry essence and finesse. Perfect for a romantic dinner. 560052 13.70% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 92/100.
