Natalie's Review

Peter Lehmann Wines Tempranillo 2006, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Vintages Wine Panel: It was during a visit to Spain’s classic Rioja region that Peter Lehmann’s chief winemaker, Andrew Wigan, realized the potential for Tempranillo in Australia. Try this Aussie take on Spain’s noble variety. My note: Yum! Tempranillo is an underrated grape and Peter Lehmann is doing a fantastic job with it. Generous layers of plush plums and berries. 118984 14% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. August 1, 2009  Full Review
