Domaine Comte De Lauze Syrah Blend 2007, A.C., CÔTES DU Rhône, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Deep, dark ruby color. Quite concentrated nose heavy with blackberry, black olive, and earth. Good fruit core on the palate, with excellent balance. Medium full-bodied yet lithe due to bright acidity, with fine ripe tannins and a lengthy, almost brooding, black fruit finish. My note: Simple and extremely rustic with full-bodied notes of black fruit and cherry liqueur. Don’t think about it, just knock it back and enjoy. 127050 13% XD 750 mL $13.95 Score: 87/100.
